Thank you! I accidentally locked my orientation and didn’t know what that symbol meant. Would be nice if apple had a book. Why do they not make manuals?? So annoying!

Great post! Thanks for compiling this list.
I found out that pressing “Command – Space” has the same behavior as on the Mac – it switches between international input methods, which is great for me since I use English, German and two different Chinese input methods.

You can’t get the unlimited plan as a “new” customer but if you already have it at the moment you can keep it.

what’d you mean by “Ultimately 2GB would be enough for me but I’m not letting go of my unlimited plan just yet.” ? because i’m plannin to go back to an iphone and get the iphone 4 and get the 2g… but i really want the unlimited data plan. does that mean i can get the unlimited plan?

I think you have it about right. People are trying to figure out what STeve Jobs is thinking about ‘mobile OS’ and ‘Mac OS’. He’s not focused on the PC/mobile distinction — I’m sure of it. Why bother when in a couple years today’s ipad will underperform tomorrow’s ipod touch. Or tomorrow’s ipad will outperform todays macbook. What matters is the form factor. I want it in my hand, and I don’t need all the functionality, or I need a worstation and the computing horsepower but don’t need to do it on the subway. There’ll be a spectrum, and Apple has just about filled it in at this point.
